Why we exist

Church buildings close for many reasons — shrinking congregations, deferred maintenance, debt, denominational restructuring. When they close, the building is often sold to the highest bidder and the neighbourhood loses a place of worship, a food pantry, a meeting hall and a landmark in one stroke.

BuyBackOurChurches.com exists to give Christian congregations, ministries and coalitions a credible way to rescue those buildings: to find churches at risk, verify the facts, unite supporters, fund the acquisition, and then reopen and sustain worship and ministry there.

What makes us different

• Verification before promotion. No campaign is public until fifteen checks are complete and two independent staff approve it.
• Truth before urgency. We never say a church is "saved" because money was raised. Acquired, reopened and sustained each require reviewed evidence.
• Radical transparency. Money in and out is published to the cent from the same ledger that runs the platform.
• Pro-Christian, respectful of all. We serve Christian rescues and speak plainly about our faith without attacking anyone else.
